Estate Valuation
We provide a full estate and probate vaulation service. All vaulations are charged at €35 plus 1% of the valuation. Valuations require approximately two weeks to complete.Recently bought items not purchased from John Brereton Jewellers will only be valued where the customer provides all the relevant documentation. This includes receipt of purchase, valuation certificate, and gem stone certificate.
Valuations will be based on our assessment of the jewellery, independent of the original price paid.
Updates to valuations of items purchased from John Brereton Jewellers, where the relevant documentation is supplied, are free of charge.
Items purchased from John Brereton Jewellers presented without documentation are subject to a charge of €20. This is due to the work involved in the identification of stones and precious metals
