Tourmaline

Toumalines have one of the widest colour ranges of all gemstones.  It is known under different names for certain colours. For example: Rubellite is reddish pink, chrome tourmaline is an intense dark green, and there is also bi-colour tourmaline which has more than one colour.

Tourmaline came into the spotlight during the 19th century and by the 20th century it's supply began to expand.
