

John Brereton Jewellers, one of Dublin's
longest established jewellers, is buying number 33 Grafton Street, which
was formerly the site of West Jewellers.The company says it is aiming to re-open the store to the public in
late 2011 under the John Brereton Jewellers name after a refurbishment.
John Brereton is a family-run business established on Dublin's Capel
Street in 1916. Brothers John and Liam have been directors for the past
40 years and have expanded the business with further shops on Dublin's
O'Connell Street and Chatham Street.
The company says the new Grafton Street store will employ 10
full-time staff. The property is a four-storey building on the corner of
Grafton Street and South Anne Street. West's closed this time last
year.
